(Waipukurau Correspondent.) The annual general meeting of the Central A. and P. Association was held in the Waipukurau County Council Chambers on Tuesday. Sir George Hunter presiding over a good attendance. The balance-sheet, which disi closed a loss of £3B 8s 3d sustained on the last show with assets over liabilities amounting to £374 Is 4d was adopted. Pattison; hon, auditors, Messrs H. C. Gradie and E. Broad; hon. vet. surgeon, Mr A. AL Brodie; solicitor, Mr. 11. F. Norris; hon. treasurer, Air J. 11. Kibblewhite; general committee, Messrs L. IL Bishop, E. Broad, H. Buchanan, F. Culling Al. Donald, F. H Donnelly, R. Dougall, R. Haldane, J. Hobson, H. Hooper, R. W. Houston, •I’ercy Hunter, J. H. Kibblewhite, D. H. Lundon, J. C. Main, W. Matthews, A. AlcConchic, R. Meredith, G. E. Alerrikln, L. M. ALonckton, J. A. Nutt, J. D. Ormond, A. W. Parsons, W. G. Patterson, C. Pattison, A. C. Russell, R. Shand, J. D. Todd, J. E. Welch, J. In returning thanks for re-electing Mm president, Sir George Hunter referred to the trying year which the country had gone through, and the difficulties encountered by the farming community. He was of opinion, however, that the bottom of the slump had been reached, and the future prospects were much brighter. Air East having resigned the position of secretary, it was resolved that a vote of thanks and appreciation be accorded him for his services to the association and that applications be called Jor vhe position. A vote of thanks was also accorded the hon. auditors, Atessrs Eroad and Braide.
