IRISH FREE STATE.
ESTABLISHMENT OF CONSTITUTION. BILL IN THE DAIL EIREANN. London Sept. 18. Mr. Cosgrave introduced in the Dail Eireann a bill for the establishment of the constitution. He gave the House clearly to understand that (there would he no departure from those clauses vital to the treaty and said the constitution represented the maximum Leland’s representatives were able to secure. It was equal to those of the commonwealth nations in the British Empire and embraced all the hest elements of any of them. Mr. Johnson. Labourite, suggested that the House reaffirm the treaty and not adopt a constitution until something like quietude prevailed in the country.—(A. and N.Z.)
