PROPOSED LOAN FOR AUSTRIA. (Received 19, 9.5 a.m.) . London, Sept. 18. lhe Australian Press Association states that the general Austrian committee, representing Britain, France, Belgium, Czecho-Slovakia. and Austria, decided to recommend the League of Nations to approach a number of European nations, including Britain, France, Belgium, Italy and Czechoslovakia, with a view to guaranteeing a privately-raised loan of £20,000,000, secured over Austrian forests, salt and tobacco monopolies.
