Smith and shipped by Messrs Richardson Company free of cost. During his recent visit to Dunedin, the Mayor (Mr. W. Hart), interviewed Mr Harman Reeves regarding the raising of the £25,000 loan with a currency of 20 years-at 5| per cent, in order to pay off portion of the bormigh’s antecedent liability, and as a Result of their conversation the terms then arranged were accepted by the Borough Council last Thursday evening. A Maori woman has been arrested in Hastings this afternoon, and she will appear in the court to-morrow on a charge of theft. •
