A meeting of commissioners of Boy Scout Associations of the North Island, held at Palmerston North, decided to hoTcl a scout rally ’at Palmerston from December 27th to January sth. The passengers from the Remuera, which collided in the English Channel with the Marengo, arc coming out to New Zealand by various routes, and the first of them have already arrived. Others will be landed at intervals during the next four or five weeks.
