[By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.l (Received 16, 10.50 a.m.) Ahghan consuls to Paris and Berlin passed through Lahore and later gave interesting details during the short time available. They said Afghanistan was making great headway in trade and education, and had opened some new schools. British, Italian, Russian, Persian, Turkish, Bokharan and Chinese embassies had already arrived in Kabul, and the French and German are expected directly. It is explained the journey to Kabul is not difficult nowadays, but the railways have not yet commenced. A good crowd welcomed them at Lahore Station. —(A and N.ZA
