SOVIET SCAPECOATS.
PROLETARIANS CAN DO NO WRONG. Berlin, Sept. 13. Thieves broke into the historical museum in Moscow, stealing much valuable silver and precious' stones. The revolutionary tribunal at rested the curator and secretaries. It was proved that the guards were drunk for two days continuously and that the curator frequently demanded soberer custodians, but rather than risk the ■ consequences of arresting the prole- ’ tarian guards the Soviet authorities 'decided that the curator and secre- ■ taries must bear the blame. —(A. and N.Z.)
