CHAMPIONSHIP SCORES. TO-DAY’S PLAY. (Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, Sept. 14. For the golf tournament to-day there is fine, cold weather. The amateur championships were continued. The following are the results of the morning play:—Sime 3 up; Black and Bidwill 4 up; Crosse and Duncan 5 up; Williams and Ekestedt 3 up; Horton. The following are the results of this morning’s play in the Challenger Ball match (professionals):—Clements plus 3, 81; versus Brooks, plus 3, 92; Butters plus 2, 83; versus Blair, scr., 90; Moss, plus 2, 86; versus Ham, plus 4, 83; McCormick, scr, 86; versus Forrest scr., 90; Shaw, plus 2, 86; versus Watt scr, 83. Both matches ar© continuing this afternoon.
