CHURCH UNION.
(Received 13, 11.20 a.m.) Melbourne, Sept. 13. The Presbyterian Assembly passed a resolution to the effect that the report of the committee on the basis of church union be referred to State assemblies, Presbyteries, associations and congregations for approval or otherwise; also that the assembly recommends that cooperation, with a view to the union be actively prosecuted.—(A. and N.Z.)
