AVellington, March 28. The going was holding at Trentham this morning. Rain set in steadily about 6.30. Radiant Light and Truthful did seven furlongs in 1.34. Absurdum and Surveyor covered five furlongs in 1.5. Blackmail and Sunny Corner did seven furlongs in 1.35. Triboulet and Basso sprinted six furlongs in 1.19 Bayon and Capping Day did the same distance in 1.18. Quest and Scion cqvered seven furlongs in 1.32. Insurrection, Songbird and Sycorax did the same distance in 1.31; Halifax and Esperance the same in 1.32. Martial Dawn and Island did six furlongs in 1.19. Coalition and Oak Rose covered seven furlongs in 1.38. En Route and Moutoa’s Gift did four furlongs in 52. AVamba picked up Rimutaka and did a mile in 1.47 L Printemps, Princess Pat and Liquer covered six furlongs in 1.18 4-5.
