LONDON SALES MAINTAIN STRONG.
(Received 28, 2.35 p.m.) London, Alarch 27. The wool sales were strong with no sign of weakness anywhere. There was good French, German and Yorkshire competition for merinos and crossbreds. The New Zealand clip named Retoite fetched 18Jd. Bradford market is firm and business small, buyers being disinclined to pay sellers’ prices.—(A. and N.Z.)
