Whataupoko Handicap.—Whitehead (7 Big X) 1, Peace (2| A.J .8.) 2, Mangham H.D.) 3. Te Ka*raka Handicap.—-Sykes (3| Royal Kuby) 1, Sargertt (7 Indian) 2, Souter (7 H.D.) 3. Coleman made the fastest lap of the day in 59secs. His handicaps were very stiff. He gave away six minutes to the limit rnan in the President’s Handicap, which was the big race.
