ENGLISH WOOL SALES.

MARKET REMAINS FIRM. London, Oct. 17. At the B.A.W.R.A. wool sale the market is firm at fujl late prices. There is keenest competition for crossbreds and merinos, especially top-mak-ing sorts. In order to meet the demand for more merinos B.A.W.R.A. offered to hold an additional sale of eleven thousand bales on the 29th but buyers decided against an extra day’s sale. Bradford prices are firm but the tone is hardly so buoyant.
