N.S.W. WHEAT POOL.
BANKS REFUSE FINANCE. Sydney, Oct. 15. The Minister for Agriculture announced that the banks refused to finance the wheat pool. This means that unless some other way out of the difficulty is found the proposed compulsory pool will collapse. (A. and N.Z.) LONDON MAY BE APPROACHED. (Received 17, 10.15 a.m.) Sydney, October 17. It is anticipated that the State Cabinet may approach London to finance the wheat pool at 3/- per bushel, —(A. and N,Z.)
