BOXING.

EXHIBITION OF THE ART. DWYER AND BAXTER AT NAPIER, There was a large attendance at the Napier Baths room yesterday afternoon, when a most interesting exhibition of boxing was given by Hqghie Dwyer and E. Baxter, the former of whom is to meet Rutherford in Hastings next week Dwyer also demonstrated shadow ■sparring, skipping and floor work, as well as boxing with Shorty Woodward, of Port Ahuriri, and Franklyn, i High School boy. He stated that he was much impressed by the exhibition given by Franklyn. Napier enthusiasts were interested owing to the fact that the Napier Association is endeavouring to match the winner of next week’s contest in Hastings against the New Zealand champion O’Neill.
