Tn the covered courts tennis tournament, Davson and Mavrogordatc beat F. M. b. Fisher and W. Botstord, 3—6, 6—2, 6—3, 6—2. in the semi-finals of the mixed doubles, Fisher and Mrs. Peacock beat G. Sherrell and Miss Holman, <s—l, (5—4. The Lycett—von Braun match was the best contest seen in the championships. Braun’s driving was of the hurricane variety, both forehand and bacqIbn nd. He volleyed- excellently and served high, kicking the American delivery, which fully tested Lycett’s powers of return.—(Reuter.)
