VISIT TO NAPIER. » The Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister of Internal Affairs, arrived in Napier . this morning, and was met at the rail- , way station by His Worship the Mayor (Mr. J. V. Brown) and Executive of the U.F.B. Demonstration Committee. ’ lhe Minister’s first question to the 1 Mavor was as to how many deputations he had. He was somewhat surprised > on being informed by the Mayor that there were no deputations and added, . “doesn’t Napier require anything.” To this His Worship replied that they wanted a lot of things but the notice * given was so short that there had not ‘ been time to arrange matters.
