PROHIBITION OPPOSITION.
London, Dec. 27.
The “Daily Mail” says that the Dempsey-Carpentier fight may not come off in America owing to pronounced opposition from the prohibition party. Willard is training hard, and hopes to regain the title in a fight which has been arranged for March 17th.
