MOTOR CYCLE AND GI COLLIDE.

Palmerston North, March 15. A serious collision occurred on Foxton line at Piakitahuna last night. A motor cyclist was endeavouring to pass between a motor cyclist towing another cyclist and a gig and collided with the latter. The gig was overturned and the occupants, Dunn, farmer of Rangitane, and Mrs. Henderson and a baby were thrown out. Dunn sustained a broken collarbone and the others a severe shaking. The horse freed itself from the harness and bolted over a mile and collided with a taxi and was killed instantly. A little girl in the ear was cut about the face, necessitating stitches being inserted.
