DANNEVIRKE SHOW.
Splendid entries have been received for the I>*nnevirke Show on the 11th and 12th inst.. the acttle. horse and dqjr classes 1 harin* ailed exceptionally well, while sheep have also attracted stood entries throughout. The other sections of the show will he strongly represented, and the requests for space made for side shows, trade and other non-competitive displays, indicate that this year’s fixture will probably establish a record in the history of this progressive society. Special railway arrangements hare been made for the benefit of visitors from north and south, and excursion tickets will be issued at Palmerston North. Napier, and intermediate stations on the 11th and 12th February by the trains: Napier at 6.40 and 8.4 S a.m.. and Waipukurau at 6.30 ajn. They will not be available from stations Waipukurau and Takapau inclusive by the mail train leaving Napier at 8.46 a.m. The train usually leaving Dannevirke at £56 p.m. will be delayed until 5.20 p.m. on the 12th February (People’s Day).
