Won by 1| lengths, 8 lengths between second and third. Time 3. 1 2-5. * Kawau Hack —Starland 1, Self Alliance 2. Haversack 3. All startea. Won by four lengths, half a length between second and third. Time, 1.5. GISBORNE RACES. Gisborne, Feb. 5. The Gisbbrne Racing Club’s meeting opened in fine weather, and a large attendance. Results: — Hurdles.— Chillies 1, Happy Valley 2, Cymer 3. Scr: Multtkoff. Won by a neck, hall a lengtn between second and third. Time, 2.51. ‘ „ Tehapara Hack.-- Raffle 1, Hookah 2, Makere 3. Scr: Lord Astolat, Persian King, Gatherer ano Mumix. Won by a head, a head separating second and third. Time 1.28 1-5.
