WHAT IS BOLSHEVISM?

FINNISH PORT’S PLEA TO BRITISH GOVERNMENT.

“If the people of Britain still believe that Bolshevism is anything but a curse they are making one of the greatMt and most tragic mistakes potfewle, said Mr. Herman Montague Donner, the Finnish poet and lecturer, in the course of an address at the Polytechnic, Lgndon. “What Bolshevism is,” he continued, “I well know. Finnish relatives of mine have been massacred by the Bolshevists. Labour leaders have, in the deliberate intention of creating a false impression, represented Bolshevism as being the same as Socialism. It is fundamentally false. I would ask the British Government to define its polity towards Finland, which, I hope,, will be to stand by that country in the event of another attack by Russia.”
