A SOLE SURVIVOR RESCUED. FROM THE DEADLY GOODWINS London, Dec. 31. The rescue of the survivor of a vessel wrecked on theGopdwin Sands apparently solve* a Christmas night mystery. The survivor, an engineer of the Great Clive, states that the vessel stranded on tne Sands m terrible weather. He entered a small boat with the captain, but remembers little, owing to his sufferings. He does not know the fate of the captain or the .remainder oi the crew of thirty-two.

THREE SAVED FROM THE ANTON VAN DRIEL. St. Johns, Dec. 30. Three men were rescued, half dead, from the Dutch steamer Anton Van Driel, which was wre&ed at. Cape Race. These were the only survivors out of twenty-nirfe persons on the vessel.
