FALL FROM A ROOF.

Air. Frank Burge, builder, of Hastings, met with an accident at about 8 o’clock this morning, whilst engaged in dismantling the buildings in Station street, Hastings 1 recently sold for* removal. He was on the roof, in the act of removing the iron, when he slipped on the steeply inclined and frosty surface and, having nothing to lay hold of, fell to the ground, some fifteen feet below. He was conveyed to Nurse O’Callaghan's Hospital and although it is feared that one of his legs was fractured. it is hoped that his injuries are not so serious as was at first anticipated.
