TORQUAY'S NEW NAML. Torquay has been given many names. ‘‘Queen of the West,” "Suushineland,” etc., but its latest 'Honeymoontown’’ is perhaps the most novel. The London "Star” has re-christeum.v it beeaus? "Torquay has been fixed on as the honeymoon centre of the returning New Zealand troops and their British brides. Couples are arriving by the score, and by mid-January the total will be near a thousand. "Before th.' discharge ib'pot at St. Mary church is closed down ami the last draft sails for home, several thousand bridegrooms from overseas will have formed their best and lasting memories of (he Old Country through their stay in this beauty spot of Devon.
