ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE ORIGINALS. The “Originals” are described as a fine little team of entertainers, and from the photographs displayed in the town the description is well deserved. This, however, does not refer merely to personal appearance. The excellence of the programme provided by the company compares favourably with the best professionals. Solos, duets and choruses all go with a zip and a swing, the chorus work being exceptionally good. Miss Vera Maybee is a delightful dancer; her performance is not merely . a series of steps, but a study..in spirited movements and poise. Miss Sheila MacGregor has earned quite a reputation as a monologuist, b er items including a tragedy in the trenches and a typical coster sketch. The net proceeds of the concert on Friday night are to be devoted to the Navy League North Sea Relief Fund (75 per cent) and. the H.B. Wounded Soldiers’ Fund (25 per cent). All re * ceipts and payments are being controlled by the Hastings Patriotic Society. *
