PROTECTING SOLDIERS.
AN APPEAL TO WOMEN.
Washington, Feb. 6. President Wilson’s wife has issued an appeal to the women of the Allied nations to protect youths and girls from evil influences during .the war, keeping soldiers chivalrous and pure, so that when the war is ended the nobility and healthfulness of home-life will be unimpaired. “This,” Mrs. Wilson says, “is an essential basis for permanent peace and prosperity.”
