RIFLE SHOOTING.
The. Okawa Rifle Club opened the season with a scratch match at the Roy’s Hill range, on Wednesday afternoon. The conditions were 10 shots aud a sighter at each range. The weather was fine, and the shooting fair. Following are the scores 300 500
CHALLENGE SHIELD. The Hasting’, 71 (’oinp.my Senior Cadets fired at the Drill Flail lastevening for the Weekly Press Challenge Shield. The conditions were : - First brattice, seven shots; second practice, 10 shots rapid, 90 seconds. The possibles in each were 28 and 40 respectively. Following arc the scores: —
The Shield is for Cadets under 10 years of age. and must be fired for with 22” ammunition.
