A communique states: We expelled the enemy from Sano Village in the Adige Valley (in the Trentino). and destroyed the defences thereof. We progressed three hundred yards south-east of Nova Villa. Caucasus and Persia. A RUSSIAN DESPATCH. [AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSN. ] (Received 30, 1.20 p.m.) London, Oct. 29. A Russian communique says : —We captured two Turkish convoys westward of Soudjabulgaka, in the Caucasus. We drove back considerable Turkish forces in the Haniadan district.
