At the inquest nn the body of Peter .Enlrn, n- married wharfinger,’ employed by the Union Company 7 at Lyttelton, who died in the hospital as the result <>f injuries received while alight ing from a. moving tramcar, a verdict was returned of accidental doafh. A TERRIBLE MUTILATION. Dunedin, Aug. 10. Robert Nowburn, aged 16 y/nployed in the Kaitangata coal rpme, had both his feet torn off while engaged in oiling machinery at the tip shed. Apparently his clothing caught in the revolving shaft, and his feet struck the overhead beam. He was removed to the Dunedin Hospital.
