WRECKAGE ASHORE AT TAURANGA. [PER PBF«S ASSOCIATION.! Tauranga. Sept. 25. A portion of the smashed houses, part of a boat branded Auckland No. 3. and part branded Auckland, bedsteads, chairs, part of the triiniline woodwork, also a portion of tile wharf were found on the beach about two miles east of Mount Muunganui at the entrance of Tauranga harbour. They are presumably from White Island. Altogether there are several tons of wreckage. A search is beingmade and it. is expccied that iurtber particulars will be available this afternoon.
