The Suffragettes dropped a bomb in a letter box at the premises of Boulton, Macko and Co., chemical manufacturers, in the East End. POLICEMAX’S ASSAULT. “tIMES”-“BYDNEY SPN” SPECIAL CABLES. London, Jan. 10. Inspector Potter, charged, after arresting Robert Atkinson, a Suffragist, with striking him on the eye and saying, “We serve you as Carpentier served Wells,” was committed for trial despite his emphatic denial of the alleged assault.
