A CHRISTCHURCH FOUNDRY.
Christchurch, March 11
The third fire in three months occurred at Booth, MacDonald and Co.’s foundry to-night, by which the engine-room, machinery-room and blacksmith’s shop were damaged and much valuable machinery either partially or totally destroyed. The insurances, which are in the Sun office, were not available to-night. The damage runs into four figures.
