MR, McGILLIVRAY’S THANKS.

TO THE EDITOR ■(’* Sir. —As the father of the child Lewis Donald McGillivray, may I be permitted to tender a few words of thanks through the medium of your paper. I would like to express gratitude to my friends of Paki Faki who worked so nobly and with such untiring energy on my behalf; also the gentlemen from Hastings who so kindly volunteered to assist in the search for my dear boy. I wish also to thank the Hastings Police for their promptitude and diligence in following up the investigation. Above all I thank one gentleman whose sympathy and extreme consideration helped me over many a disappointing day. Now the suspense is over, I am more at ease with the assurance that a Higher Hand has taken away the only treasure man and wife can have.— I am, etc., lewis d. McGillivray. Hastings, 4th Dec.. 1912.
