The interest chiefly centred in the match between Dunlop and Brookes and Wright and A. | B. Jones. His drawing off the i ground had more pace than usual. ! The same pair beat Kidson and 'Anderson by 6 —l. 6—o. Lycett and Heath were below i form, but they won all their matches, ; beating Anderson and Kidson by j 6 —3. 3—6. 9 —7, and Marsh and ■Metcalfe by 6—l. 7—5. I O’Hara Wood and Campbell beat : A. B.
