j LAKE STEAMER ASHORE. Quebec, Nnv. 7. The steamer Royal George grounded iii the St. Lawrence in a fog. There were 900 aboard, and their situation is serious. Assistance has been sent. The passengers are believed to be safe, and there was no panic. PASENGERS RESCUED. (Received 8, 11.45 a.m.) Ottawa, Nov. 7. The passengers have been rescued from the Royal George. The vessel is in only six feet of water, and is in danger of tcppling over. The crew is still aboard. Tugs are standing by.
