GERMAN NATIONAL FUND. Berlin, Aug. 31. The national ’aviation subscription has reached £300,006. SHOCKING DEATH OF A BOY. New York, Sept. 1. A small boy was accidentally caught by the rope of a balloon at Flint, Michigan and was lifted up 2000 feet in midair. The aeronaut worked frantically to put the rope to which the boy was clinging into the car, but failed. The boy fell to earth and crashed through the roof of a barn. A huge crowd witnessed the accident. Manv women fainted.
