FIGHTING AT TIMOR.
REBEL STRONGHOLD STORMED. (Received 27. 8.55 a.m.) Lisbon, Aug. 26. The Governor cf Timor, with a small force of infantry and bluejackets, stormed the rebel stronghold and captured it at the point of the bayonet after ten hours fighting. The Portuguese losses were insignificant.
