SYDNEY HORSE SHOW.
NEW ZEALAND PRIZEWINNERS. Sydney, Aug. 5. The New Zealand-bred Clydesdale stallion Plucky Willie and his progeny figured prominently at the Royal Horse Show. Plucky Willie secured JOOgs premium for the best draught stallion in the show and first for best stallion. Royal "Willie and Gallant Willie, two of his sons, were awarded first in the three and two years’ classes respectively, while his daughter got a first for filly under three. The New Zealand-bred Alilton Lass and Milton Pride were first and second in the mares over four. The New Zealand-bred Miss Murray got a first in three-year-olds. Sylvanite topped the list of thoroughbred stallions and Port Jackson the'marcs. At the sales in connection with the show the bidding was stack and prices low. many being passed in. The Clydesdales included lota ranging from 35gs to lOOgs on behalf of Messrs. Boag, Hastie, Christie. Blair, and Ward, all of New Zealand.
