CROPS RUINED. London, Aug. 5. The present, is the coldest August experienced for half a century. The Grampians are snowclad anil four degrees of frost are recorded in Devon. Rains have flooded the lower country in East Yorkshire and hay is floating and crops rotting. The Dee and Severn are flooding thousands of acres and hay and corn is submerged.
