TRADER IN BAD MEAT.
SENTENCED TO FOUR MONTHS (Received 13, 11.20 a.m.) London, July 12. David Weir, trading as the East London Produce Company, has been sentenced to four months’ imprisonment at the Old Bailey for purchasing defective tinned corned beef and re-selling it for human consumption. Sixty tins were discovered in a bad condition.
