SHOOTING SEASON. j HAIVKE'S BAY DISTRICT. miTE SHOOTING SEASON commences on MAY' Ist, and closes on JULY 31st, both days inclusive. The following imported game may be taken in this district: —Cock Pheasants and Californian Quail. Licenses to kill such imported game in the said district shall be issued to any person on the payment of the license fee of £l. Licenses may be obtained from the Chief Postmaster, Napier, and the Postmasters at Waipawa, Wood-ville. Dannevirke, Hastings, Waipukurau, Norsewood, Ormondville, Porangahau, Wimbledon, and Takapau, who are hereby appointed te sign and issue such licenses to kill imported game. The following Native game may be killed in this district from MAY Ist to JULY 31st, both days inclusive:—Grey Duck, Teal, and Black Swan. The number of Native game that may be killed by any one person on any one day must not exceed 25 birds in all. This season is a CLOSE Season in this district for Kakas and Native Pigeons. Paradise ducks are protected. NOTICE. A NY person found trespassing with - i -*- dog or gun on any property in occupation of the undersigned will be prosecuted. All dogs found will be destroyed.
