RAILWAY SMASH.
CARRIAGES TELESCOPED. Sydney. July 9. A goods train was stuck up on an incline near Lindfickl when a passenger train dashed into its rear. The two first-class carriages were telescoped. The guard of the passenger train was injured but not seriously. The damage to rolling stock was heavy.
