A TERRIBLE FALL.
Berlin. June 29. Schadt, flying at Muclhauscu. fell 800 feet and was killed.
FIRST AUSTRALIAN CONTEST.
Sydney. June 30.
The first flying race in Australia between Hart (Australian) on a biplane and Stone (American) on a Metz monoplane from Botany to Parramatta. 141 ini cs. was won by Hart in 23min. 52sec. The wind and rain compelled him to make a wide circuit.
Stone did not finish. He lost his way in a rain cloud and then followed the wrong course.
