It is verv important that specifications and drawings should be prenared 'ey competent persons, as the'validity of a. patent often depends upon them. No patent agent" is competent unless he ir a practical mechanical draftsman, has scientific education, and is skilled in patent law. Messrs. Baldwin and Ravward, lyhose local representative is Mr. J. A. Fraser, accountant, have these qualifications, and are thoroughly trustworthy.*
