EAST EDINBURGH. London, Feb. 3. The by-election for Edinburgh E., necessary by the death of Sir J. P. Gibson, resulted: — Hogge (L.) 5064 Jamieson (U.) 4139 The polling at the December, 1910, elections was Sir J. Gibson (L.) 6436, R. M. Cameron (U.) 3782.
