TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —One Sunday evening a short time ago I regret to have heard the clergyman preaching use the word “Cocksure” twice. Certain, or positive would have been preferable and would not have been slang. In general conversation too much slang is used, but it is not expected from the pulpit.—l am, etc.,
