Domino being actually last. At this distance Goldfinder was done with, and Vice-Admiral made his run, and catching Masterpiece a hundred yards from the post won by a length. Domino was three quarters of a length behind Masterpiece. with Martine a length away fourth. Goldfinder finished a long way back. Time, -linin 18 3-ssec. After going a couple of furlongs Stepmeter ran through and joined Bliss, this pair leading round the top turn and into the straight. When well in line for hcim Stepmeter and Bliss were beaten, and Madam Madcap joined Formb'.'
