KERERU.
A very pleasant basket supper fiance wa* held in the Hall. Kerern. on Friday evening last. The baskets, each containing supper sufficient for two persons, were provided I>y the ladies. Ttn*" baskets were sold by am t ion. the purchaser having to take the owiht of the basket into sttpjwr. Some of the baskets realised as much as one pound. The pro feeds of the evening, amounting to about £!'• were handed over to the trustees of the Hall in order to pay the amount owing on it. Danviiur was kept up until a late hour on Saturday morning. The music was supplied bv those present 1 some of whom preferred the aoorilom to the -me.
