SCULLING.
ARNST v. BARRY. TIIE NEW ZEALANDER’S INDEPENDENCE. (Received 21, 9.40 a.m.) Sydney, Sept. 21. The “Telegraph” publishes an interview in which it states that Arnst is not now prepared to accept £750 to go to England to meet Barry. He will not consider the matter under £lOOO. He is engaged in a lucrative business, and if Barry wants a race he must pay £lOOO. He is prepared to allow Barry moderate expenses to row on the Paramatta.
